Friends of Galapagos New Zealand is part of a worldwide network of organisations working to help protect the wildlife and ecosystem of the Galapagos Islands.

Each organisation is independent but they work closely together. While they support a wide range of organisations and projects, their two main partners are The Charles Darwin Foundation and the Galapagos National Park. More recently support for Fundar Galapagos has focused on more people oriented projects in helping to solve farming and fishing problems.
